01 -  Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 
 02 -  In a mixing bowl, thoroughly combine softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt. 
 03 -  Evenly spread garlic butter onto each bread slice using a spoon or spatula. 
 04 -  Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly over the buttered slices. 
 05 -  Distribute finely chopped green chilies or jalapeño over the cheese layer. Optionally add crushed red pepper flakes for additional heat. 
 06 -  Place the assembled bread slices onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbling and edges are golden. 
 07 -  Serve hot, optionally garnished with extra fresh parsley.
