02 - 1 cup green grapes, halved
03 - 1 cup blueberries
04 - 1 cup pineapple, diced
05 - 1 banana, sliced (optional)
06 - 1 kiwi, peeled and diced (optional)

→ Decorations

07 - 6 small clear plastic cups
08 - 6 large marshmallows
09 - 12 mini marshmallows
10 - 12 small candy eyes
11 - 12 pink jellybeans or pink chocolate candies
12 - 12 white paper cupcake liners
13 - Black edible marker

# Step-by-Step Instructions:

01 - Wash all fruits thoroughly. Hull and dice strawberries, halve green grapes, keep blueberries whole, and dice pineapple. If using banana and kiwi, slice and dice accordingly. Combine all prepared fruits in a large mixing bowl.
02 - Evenly divide the mixed fruit mixture into 6 small clear plastic cups, filling each approximately three-quarters full.
03 - For each cup, position two large marshmallows on the front to represent cheeks. Place a mini marshmallow or pink candy between the cheeks as a nose. Using honey or icing as adhesive, attach candy eyes above the cheeks. Draw whiskers and a small mouth on the marshmallows using the black edible marker.
04 - Fold each white paper cupcake liner in half and cut into ear shapes. Tape or glue two ears to the back inside rim of each cup, positioning them so they stand upright.
05 - Serve immediately for optimal presentation and freshness, or refrigerate for up to 4 hours before serving.

# Additional Tips::

01 -
  • Kids actually eat their fruit because they're too charmed by the bunny faces to resist.
  • Zero cooking required means you can pull this together faster than a trip to the bakery.
  • It's the kind of thing that looks fancy enough to impress but simple enough that little hands can help decorate.
02 -
  • The edible marker can smudge if you're not gentle, so let any honey or icing glue dry completely before you start drawing whiskers.
  • Clear cups are absolutely necessary because half the charm is seeing those fruits through the sides, and opaque cups just look like sad regular snacks.
03 -
  • Use honey as your adhesive instead of icing because it dries faster and doesn't make the marshmallows taste overly sweet.
  • Prep all your fruit the night before and store it in containers so assembly day is just about stacking marshmallows and having fun with the marker.
