# Step-by-Step Instructions:

01 - Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan and bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat, add basil leaves, and allow to steep for 10 minutes. Strain out the basil leaves.
02 - In a blender, combine blueberries, lemon zest, lemon juice, the basil-infused syrup, and a pinch of salt. Process until completely smooth.
03 - Pass the blended mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl to remove skins and seeds for a refined texture, if desired.
