03 - 10 ounces vegan marshmallows (about 5 cups mini marshmallows)
04 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
05 - Vegan green food coloring, as needed

06 - 1/2 cup dairy-free dark chocolate chips
07 - 1 tablespoon coconut oil, optional
08 - 24 vegan candy eyes
09 - Vegan black decorating gel or melted dark chocolate for piping
10 - 12 small pretzel sticks, optional

# Step-by-Step Instructions:

01 - Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease the surface.
02 - In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the vegan butter. Add the vegan marshmallows and stir continuously until fully melted and smooth.
03 - Remove the pan from heat. Stir in the vanilla extract and green food coloring until the desired shade is achieved.
04 - Quickly fold in the crispy rice cereal until every piece is evenly coated in the marshmallow mixture.
05 - Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan. Press it evenly using a greased spatula or another sheet of parchment. Allow to cool for 10 to 15 minutes.
06 - Once set, lift the mixture from the pan and cut into 12 rectangles using a sharp knife.
07 - Melt dark chocolate chips with coconut oil (if using) in a microwave or double boiler, stirring until smooth.
08 - Dip the top of each bar into the melted chocolate to create Frankenstein's hair. Place bars on a parchment-lined tray.
09 - While the chocolate is still wet, press two candy eyes beneath the chocolate hair on each bar.
10 - Use black decorating gel or melted chocolate to pipe a mouth and stitches onto each face.
11 - Insert a pretzel stick into each side of the bar to create neck bolts, if desired.
12 - Allow the chocolate decorations to fully set before serving the bars.
