01 - Pour grenadine syrup into a shallow dish and fine sugar into a separate shallow dish. Dip the rim of a chilled martini glass first into the grenadine, then coat evenly with sugar. Set aside.
02 - In a cocktail shaker, add vodka, raspberry liqueur, cranberry juice, fresh lemon juice, and a handful of ice cubes.
03 - Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well-chilled.
04 - Strain the chilled mixture into the prepared martini glass.
05 - Top with a maraschino cherry before serving.
