Tortilla Pizza Wrap Crispy (Printable Version)

A crispy tortilla folded over with mozzarella and classic pizza flavors for a quick satisfying bite.

# The Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Tortilla Base

01 - 2 large flour tortillas (10-inch diameter)

→ Sauce

02 - 4 tablespoons pizza sauce or tomato passata
03 - 1 teaspoon olive oil (optional, for brushing)

→ Cheese

04 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (about 100 g)

→ Toppings

05 - 1/3 cup sliced pepperoni or vegetarian alternative (about 40 g, optional)
06 - 1/4 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
07 - 1/4 small red onion, thinly sliced
08 - 4 black olives, sliced
09 - 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
10 - Fresh basil leaves (optional, for garnish)

# Step-by-Step Instructions:

01 - Place one tortilla on a clean surface. Using a knife or scissors, cut a single straight line from the center of the tortilla to its edge.
02 - Spread 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce evenly over the tortilla, leaving a 0.4-inch border around the edges.
03 - Sprinkle 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese evenly across the sauced tortilla.
04 - Distribute half of the pepperoni (if using), sliced red bell pepper, sliced red onion, and olives into separate quarters on the tortilla. Finish with a pinch of dried oregano.
05 - Starting from the cut line, fold each quarter of the tortilla over the next, creating a layered triangle-shaped wrap.
06 - Repeat the preparation steps for the second tortilla, assembling the remaining ingredients similarly.
07 - Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and optionally brush lightly with olive oil.
08 - Place the folded wraps seam-side down in the skillet. Cook each side for 3 to 4 minutes, pressing gently with a spatula, until golden brown, crispy, and cheese is melted.
09 - Remove wraps from the skillet, allow to cool briefly, garnish with fresh basil if desired, slice in half, and serve warm.

# Additional Tips::

01 -
  • Ready in under 20 minutes, no oven needed—pure stovetop magic.
  • Crispy edges with melted cheese inside that somehow tastes better than it should.
  • A single tortilla becomes something substantial enough to feel like a real meal.
  • You can customize it however you want or feed two people for the price of snacks.
02 -
  • Don't skip the single cut from center to edge—it's the difference between a folded disaster and a perfect layered wrap.
  • Cheese placement matters: too little and it won't bind the toppings, too much and it leaks out the sides during cooking.
  • If your tortillas are thin, double them up so the wrap stays intact and doesn't tear when you flip it.
03 -
  • Toast your tortillas very lightly in the dry pan for 10 seconds before adding toppings—it makes them less likely to tear when you fold.
  • If you're cooking for more than two people, assemble them all first and cook back-to-back; they're fast enough that the first batch stays warm while you finish the last.
