01 - Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a small bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Unroll the puff pastry on the baking sheet. Use a knife to score a 1-inch border on all sides. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly within the border. Top with spoonfuls of the cranberry sauce. Brush the border with the beaten egg. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
