# What You Need:

→ Patties

01 - 1 ½ lbs ground beef
02 - ½ cup breadcrumbs
03 - 1 egg
04 - ¼ cup milk
05 - ½ tsp salt
06 - ½ tsp black pepper

→ Gravy

07 - 2 onions, thinly sliced
08 - 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
09 - 2 cups beef broth
10 - 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
11 - 1 tsp dried thyme

# Steps to Follow:

01 - In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, salt, and pepper until well-combined. Form into 4-6 evenly sized patties.
02 - Heat a skillet over medium heat and brown patties on both sides. Remove and set aside.
03 - In the same skillet, sauté onions until soft and translucent. Sprinkle flour over onions and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
04 - Gradually stir in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and thyme. Bring mixture to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
05 - Return patties to skillet, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes, or until meat is cooked through and gravy has thickened.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Combine mixture thoroughly for firm patties that won't fall apart
02 - Whisk flour into onions quickly to prevent lumps in the gravy
03 - Simmer gravy longer for a thicker consistency
04 - Ensure patties reach 160°F (71°C) internal temperature
05 - Keep onions at medium heat to caramelize without burning
