Honey BBQ Garlic Butter Tacos (Printable Version)

# What You Need:

→ Beef Filling

01 - 1 lb ground beef
02 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter
03 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
05 - 2 tbsp honey
06 - 1 tsp smoked paprika
07 - 1/2 tsp chili powder (add if you want some kick)
08 - Salt and black pepper, as needed

→ Tacos

09 - 8 small tortillas (corn or flour)
10 - 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack or cheddar cheese
11 - 1/2 cup lettuce, shredded
12 - 1/2 cup tomatoes, diced
13 - 1/4 cup red onions, sliced
14 - If you want: lime wedges, fresh cilantro, sour cream

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Put a skillet on medium heat. Toss in the ground beef and break it up while cooking until it's no longer pink. Get rid of any extra fat.
02 - Move the beef to one side of your pan and drop the butter on the empty part. Throw in the minced garlic and cook it in the butter for about half a minute till you can smell it.
03 - Stir the garlicky butter into your beef. Add the BBQ sauce, honey, smoked paprika, and chili powder if you want some heat. Sprinkle salt and black pepper how you like it. Let it bubble gently for 2-3 minutes so the flavors can mingle.
04 - Warm up your tortillas by putting them in a dry pan over medium heat or wrapping them in foil and sticking them in the oven.
05 - Scoop a big helping of the sweet and savory beef mix onto each tortilla. Add cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, and whatever other toppings you fancy.
06 - Bring them straight to the table with lime wedges on the side for an extra tangy squeeze.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Try ground turkey or chicken if you want something lighter.
02 - Pick a spicy or smoky BBQ sauce to boost the flavor.
03 - Top with creamy ranch or sliced avocado for extra richness.
