01 -  Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper. 
 02 -  In a large bowl, cream together the brown sugar and softened butter until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. 
 03 -  Gradually mix the all-purpose flour into the wet ingredients until a soft dough forms. 
 04 -  Fold the chocolate chips into the dough until evenly distributed. 
 05 -  Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop dough balls onto the prepared baking tray, leaving space between each cookie for spreading. 
 06 -  Place the tray in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. 
 07 -  Allow the cookies to cool on the tray for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before serving.
