# What You Need:

→ Lobster

01 - 1½ lbs cooked lobster meat (claw, knuckle, and tail), chopped into bite-sized pieces

→ Butter Sauce

02 - 6 tbsp unsalted butter
03 - 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
04 - 1 pinch sea salt
05 - 1 pinch ground black pepper
06 - 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives (optional)

→ Buns

07 - 4 split-top hot dog buns
08 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter (for toasting buns)

→ Optional Garnishes

09 - Lemon wedges
10 - Extra melted butter for drizzling

# Steps to Follow:

01 - In a small saucepan, melt 6 tbsp of butter over low heat. Stir in lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Keep warm on the lowest heat setting.
02 - Gently fold the chopped lobster meat into the butter sauce. Heat until just warmed through, about 2–3 minutes. Do not overcook.
03 - In a skillet or griddle, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium heat. Toast the outsides of the split-top buns until golden brown and crisp.
04 - Fill each toasted bun generously with warm buttered lobster. Sprinkle with chives if using.
05 - Serve immediately with lemon wedges and extra melted butter on the side.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For a richer flavor, brown the butter slightly before adding lemon juice.
02 - Serve with kettle chips or a simple slaw for a classic touch.
03 - Lobster can be freshly cooked or pre-cooked and chilled; just ensure it's reheated gently.
04 - Add a dash of Old Bay seasoning if you like a hint of spice.
