Blackberry Basil Ricotta Pizza (Printable Version)

# What You Need:

→ Base

01 - 1 unbaked pizza crust (14 to 16-inch)
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil

→ Toppings

03 - 2 cups blackberries (about 1 pint)
04 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
05 - 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
06 - 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
07 - 10 large fresh basil leaves, roughly chopped

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat a 14 to 16-inch pizza stone in an oven set to 500°F (260°C).
02 - Brush olive oil over the unbaked pizza crust. Smash half of the blackberries and spread them evenly across the crust.
03 - Sprinkle the mozzarella and parmesan cheese over the pizza surface.
04 - Halve the remaining blackberries and scatter them over the pizza. Drop heaping teaspoon-sized dollops of ricotta randomly across the surface.
05 - Transfer to the preheated pizza stone and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until cheese begins to brown.
06 - While the pizza is baking, roughly chop or chiffonade the basil leaves. Scatter basil over the pizza during the final 2-3 minutes of baking.
07 - Remove from oven and slice into 8 equal portions.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For best results, allow the pizza stone to preheat for at least 30 minutes before baking.
